Lomba do Pinheiro village is an indigenous reserve where part of the Guarani-Myba people live. It is located in the south of Brazil, in the suburbs of Porto Alegre.
Guarani-Myba language is the strongest element of their identity. They maintain its language alive and full, and the kids learn it through an oral transmission and in the village's school.
They express their culture through their crafts, specially using Bamboo as the main material.
The crafts are made by women and currently it is the village's main income.
